AVAILABILITY

The Goodwin Granger Premier was re-introduced in the 1931 Granger Catalog as the highest grade available.

The Premier was available in 7 1/2′ to 10′ lengths (3 oz. to 6.5oz.) and priced at $50. Tournament models were also available in 9′ and 9.5′ lengths (5.5oz. to 5.75 oz.)

Production of the Goodwin Granger Premier grade lasted until the company closed it’s doors during WWII in 1941.

The Premier’s windings are simple and utilitarian—single wraps of gold silk.
